A few coin molds (B.1, L.1 to L.5) are cataloged under Coin Moulds in 1999 by Osmund Bopearachchi and Rajah Wickramasinhe in the book Ruhuna. An Ancient Civilization Re-visited . The mold above was obtained directly via the same collector who provided most of the items for that book.
The mold was scanned at 400dpi and displayed at 300dpi. It was obtained in 2003 May directly from farmer who found it in Ruhuna via Mr A. Ratnayaka a collector in Katharagama, Lanka.
